As Summer carries on, I'm getting you prepared for the future: the Fall TV Schedule, anyway! For my latest TV spotlight, I'd like you introduce to My Generation, a new drama from ABC.

Who's in it: Jaime King and True Blood's Mehcad Brooks are the most recognizable faces of this ensemble.
What it's about: A documentary-style look at nine friends 10 years after they graduated from high school together.
Why it caught my attention: It kinda reminds me of the short-lived series Reunion, but this more down-to-earth premise about how their lives have turned out (read: no murder mystery) seems easier to get into.
Show most likely to: Make you dread your own high school reunion.

I think this show will be a huge success. Everyone keeps talking about Jamie King and Mechad Brooks being the most know, but they're forgetting one person that had done a lot of great work and should take this show to the next level, Kelli Garner. I have watched her since her first performance in Bully, and for those of you that are not familiar with her work I suggest you start renting her movies now. She is a true talent and I'm so excited to see her weekly instead of waiting months and months for her movies. BTW, she's in the new Drew Barrymore movie Going the Distance which comes out this month.

I went to high school with Mehcad ... in Austin...in the year 2000.... interesting that he's in this!

I saw the preview for this series the other night on tv and I think it has some potential. It reminded me of that reality series they did on Fox or CW....where they had taken random people from a class that graduated 10 years ago and they bring them to a big house...similar to the real world in some exotic location and they had the jocks, prom queen, class clown etc....was that Reunions???

That looks AMAZING! The promo picture looked lame but once I watched the preview I was taken back to when I was in high school. I graduated in 2003 though... But still, memories!
