Earlier this week I broke down the ins and outs of Fall TV with my scorecard, but there are a few new developments to add. First, we've got another one to add to the R.I.P. list — NBC has pulled the plug on Trauma, and the show will be removed from the lineup after the initial 13 episodes are aired. I can't say I'm particularly sad about this development, since it means good news for one of my favorites: NBC has ordered six more episodes of Chuck, which was originally intended to have a shortened season. Plus, now that Trauma is out, it's more likely that Chuck will be back even sooner than March!

That's not all the news for today: the new (and improved?) Scrubs is officially on its way, with the season premiere scheduled for December 1 at 9 p.m. Hopefully the show will add some much-needed punch to the Tuesday night lineup which is a little lackluster right now.
So, will you miss Trauma? Or are you too excited about more Chuck and Scrubs to care?

I watched one episode of Trauma and I couldn't really get into. I love Scrubs, but I'm not sure how I'll feel about it this year without some of the key players.
1I have to be honest I don't really know if there is any NBC show I watch besides Friday Night Lights
2Yay more chuck! Please let it start before March!!
NBC needs help
3I'm so excited for Scrubs to be coming back in December. I'm glad they are moving Chuck up and giving him more eps, that show didn't deserve to get a short mid season. I hope NBC realizes that giving Jay his own show every freakin night of the week is an extremely bad idea. They are killing great shows.
4that sucks about trauma i was enjoying watching it, oh well...
5I'm totally into Mercy this fall, the new Nurse show on NBC. NBC advertised the other night that they're showing the first 4 episodes on Bravo this Saturday at 8 am so def check it out if you havent started already!!
6Seeing as I thought Mercy and Trauma were the same show, and I've only seen one episode of Mercy (and none of Trauma) and didn't care for it... no. I won't miss Trauma. Or Mercy, for that matter...
7More Chuck (possibly sooner) AND Scrubs/Better Off Ted start soon?? Awesome news.
8BTW -- There are two episodes of Scrubs on 12/1 and then Scrubs AND BoT will be on Dec 8.
9Apart from seeing shots of my beautiful city, Trauma was painful to watch. I knew it was only a matter of time. Love Chuck and can't wait for its return!!
10YES! More Chuck! Always more Chuck!
I never actually watched Trauma. No interest at all. But I'm so happy to hear about Chuck. As for Scrubs... I dunno. It's not going to be the same, and I'm not sure if I'll be as into it.
11yes...nbc needs help. the only thing i kind of watch anymore is SVU and Mercy. that's only if there is nothing better on....
if the new Scrubs sucks, i hope they kill it early and not let it drag out and die a painful, annoying death (ahem, Jay Leno).
12Yay more Chuck!
13I never saw Trauma. The commercials alone was more than enough for me.
I know I'm coming to this late, but Chuck! Chuck! Chuck! My husband and I love Chuck and can't wait for it to come back!!
