Happy Endings, The New Normal Canceled — See What Other Shows Won't Be Returning
There was bad news for a lot of shows last week — tons of freshman and veteran series bit the dust (like 1600 Penn, Whitney, Go On, The New Normal, Smash, and Happy Endings). They join a lot of other shows that have gotten the boot, and if you need a rundown on what's been canceled so far, start clicking. Don't see your favorite show? Check to see whether it's already been renewed.
NBC's New Fall Schedule: Parenthood Moves to Thursday, Along With Three New Comedies
NBC has announced its Fall 2013 schedule, and while The Voice will dominate a lot of the network's weekly primetime slots, several new series will be moving into the coveted Thursday-night lineup. Welcome to the Family, Sean Saves the World, and The Michael J. Fox Show will all be following Parks and Recreation on Thursday evening — a night that will now be capped off by returning family drama Parenthood. You'll also see that Community is missing from the schedule, but rest assured that it's been renewed, but NBC hasn't figured out when it will air just yet.
Midseason additions include About a Boy, an adaptation based on Nick Hornby's popular novel, which is moving into a Tuesday-night spot, followed by The Family Guide. John Malkovich's pirate series Crossbones will inhabit the Friday-night spot come Winter, and three new series will take over Sunday nights once football season ends.

Kristen Wiig's SNL Characters Share Laugh-Out-Loud Life Advice
Are you ready to "Wiig" out? This weekend, fan favorite Kristen Wiig will be back on the Saturday Night Live stage to host the show (see the promos with Fred Armisen here). We've loved seeing more of Kristen on the big screen — especially after she killed it in Bridesmaids — but after seeing her as part of the cast for seven years, we've missed her hilarious SNL characters and impersonations. As we welcome Kristen back to the stage, let's look back at some of the best lines from her ladies, like Surprise Party Sue, Target Lady, Kathie Lee Gifford, Penelope, and "Tan Mom" Patricia Krentcil. Check them out now, and tell us: who's your favorite Kristen character?

TV Couples Who Dated in Real Life
There's some sad breakup news today, as we heard that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have reportedly split. Of course, it'll make it a little bit more interesting to see what happens with their characters on The Vampire Diaries, and their three-year relationship also has us thinking about other TV couples who've been couples on TV. From pairs we'll never forget (Seth and Summer!) to those you may not have even known were together (yes, Felicity and Ben were really an item), check out these TV couples who were together both on and off the small screen.

Watch Kristen Wiig Go Back to SNL and Dance Goofy to Vampire Weekend
Saturday Night Live veteran Kristen Wiig is set to return to historic Studio 8H this weekend, but before she takes the hosting reins, she's taking a minute to jam out to Vampire Weekend's new single. Fan favorite Wiig teamed up with Fred Armisen for her promos, which include a small tour of her (fake) characters and a guilt trip for leaving her SNL castmates behind. The promos definitely got me jazzed for this weekend's episode. It'll be just like old times! The show is also featuring musical guest — who else? — Vampire Weekend.

Editors' Picks: Entertainment Must Haves For May
May is here, and while we know the weather is warming up outside, we have more than a few reasons to be inside this month. The cool, air-conditioned movie theater is offering up the first blockbusters of the Summer movie season, like Iron Man 3. On TV, the season may be winding down for most series, but there are plenty of exciting things starting up, like the return of Arrested Development and a new installment of The Bachelorette. We've got those, plus the music and other entertainment happenings you need to know about in May!
What Friends Taught Us About Love — in GIFs
Nearly a decade later, we still hold on to the love lessons we learned from Monica, Chandler, and the rest of the gang. It's hard to believe, but as of May 6, Friends will have been off the air for nine years! Thanks to reruns, though, it feels like just yesterday that Rachel got off the plane to be with Ross. (Sigh.)
Feeling nostalgic for the Central Perk regulars? We've gathered some of the most memorable Friends moments for this thoughtful, witty guide to love. Phoebe's songs, Joey's pickup lines, Chandler's one-liners — relive the '90s sitcom days with these thoughtful love lessons inspired by Friends GIFs!
Watch Jaime Lannister Crash SNL's Game of Game of Thrones!
When Zach Galifianakis hit Saturday Night Live this weekend, there were lots of cameos, including Jon Hamm and Bradley Cooper, but my favorite surprise appearance was by Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, better known as Jaime Lannister. The actor showed up for the "Game of Game of Thrones" skit that featured Galifianakis in a child's dragon costume and in total awe of the star (we feel the same way!). Watch if only to hear Galifianakis call Coster-Waldau a "long-haired angel."
