NBC Fall TV Shows 2012 (Video)

Matthew Perry's return to TV, Ryan Murphy's next hit and yes, a monkey riding a miniature ambulance. Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw and joining me from LA are BuzzSugar editors and hosts of The Buzz, Becky Kirsch and Shannon Vestal. Hey, guys. Hi. They're telling us about the new shows coming to NBC this fall. So stay tuned so you will know what to watch. The Television Critic Association summer press tour is under way and NBC showed off the new series they have to offer. Now you were both there. So tell us, who is the biggest star coming to NBC this fall? I think it's absolutely Matthew Perry. You know, he was on a classic NBC sitcom, Friends. And he's back this Fall with another sitcom called Go On. It's really fun to see him come out and if he still feel the questions about Friends, which is pretty funny, but I would argue that the biggest storm coming to NBC is Crystal, the Monkey who's gonna be in Animal Practice and has been seen in huge blockbusters like The Hangover Part 2. Well, I definitely wanna get to Crystal later, but first, tell me about Matthewroll on go on, I mean is there anything like Chandler Bing? I personally just wish he would play Chandler Bing again but apparently, Hollywood is not going for that same thing. It's not too much like Chandler, but he's more of, he's a little bit softer I think, he's really nice. I mean he's always going to have that Matthew Perry signature sarcasm but he wouldn't say its exactly like Chandler. Going back to Crystal the Monkey because I know you wanna talk about that. Now, Shannon, I saw photos of you with her so you have to tell us the story behind that. Well, after all the panels, we all got to NBC's all-star party and of course, Crystal was there because she's huge. And I have been saying earlier if I could meet Crystal that would be like my ultimate celebrity meeting. So we saw her at the party and Becky kind of had to nudge me toward her, but I got my photo with Crystal and we had a moment. She touched my hair, she stroked my face, she kissed my cheek, she licked my cheek. So it's definitely an unforgettable moment in my life. Did you have a moment or an affair? Let's just call it a moment. What is your show Animal Practice about? Its about a veterinarian played by and he's kind of a guy who can't really connect with humans but he has no problems with animals and Crystal does play a pretty big role on that show as Rizo. I know Ryan Murphy has a new sitcom coming to NBC and he's had such huge success with Glee and American Horror Story, so what can you tell us about his new project, The New Normal? Well, The New Normal is about a gay couple who decides to use a surrogate to have a baby. And I enjoyed the pilot but it actually became more interesting to me because on stage Ryan Murphy revealed that The New Normal is mostly based on his own life he said that he and his partner have been having conversations about having kids and using a surrogate so that definitely made it more interesting to me and he also mentioned he paid a compliment to star, Andrew Rannells saying that he loves his hair and that if you're gonna have portraying a loose version of you you know they have to be great looking which Andrew Rannells and Justin Bartha both are. Well Becky, what did you think about it? I don't know if it's like my favorite pilot. I think the most exciting part for me is that there's a really big celebrity cameo in the pilot which I thought was cool. Well, any hints as to who it might be? It's a very big star who is a good friend of Ryan Murphy and has been on Glee. Very interesting. Well, what's next for both of you after this? We've got panel still for ABC, the CW and CBS.
