It's not that I don't appreciate the actresses who have been nominated in this category for the past couple of years. It's just that the names are starting to look a wee bit . . . stale. (Sedgwick? Hargitay? Arquette? Again?) I'd love to see some new blood in here, chief among them Glenn Close. The intensity she brings to her role in Damages deserves to be rewarded.

I would LOVE to see Michael Emerson, Kyle Chandler, Neil Patrick Harris, and Lee Pace all nominated, and the more recognition for Mad Men, the better!
