After peeping at early photos of Rihanna on set for her song "Rude Boy," we're finally getting a look at the full music video in all its glory. In it, Rihanna takes a colorful, graffiti-filled departure from the hard-edged look she's been sporting for tracks like "Wait Your Turn" — complete with ridiculous getups and faux safari animals. My verdict: it's fun!
The pop art calls to mind M.I.A.'s video for "Boyz" and those '80s "I Want My MTV" ads, and the island vibe feels perfectly suited to Rihanna's Barbados roots. Plus, you've got some sexy hip-shaking going on that brings back slight memories of her "Pon de Replay" days.
