23 Movies We Can't Wait to See in the New Year

A ton of trailers for 2015 movies have already been released, but there are still even more exciting upcoming films that we haven't gotten a peek at yet. There are hot, stripping men to look forward to (looking at you, Magic Mike XXL), plus the conclusion of Katniss's journey and a new Mission Impossible movie opening a whole year from now. Dare we forget to mention that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are teaming up again? Take a look ahead to see all the movies we can't wait to get our grubby little paws (er, eyes?) on in 2015.

01
Fifty Shades of Grey
Focus Features

Fifty Shades of Grey

Fifty Shades of Grey has become such a huge cultural phenomenon that we're not even ashamed to admit that we're looking forward to getting a peek at the final (hopefully steamy) product. We already know pretty much everything there is to know about the movie; now all that's left is to see Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan's performances for ourselves.

When it opens: Feb. 13

02
Cinderella
Disney

Cinderella

Based on the pictures alone, we're completely sold on Disney's Cinderella. It's a new, live-action version, featuring Lily James as the titular character and Game of Thrones' Richard Madden as Prince Charming. That's right — Robb Stark as Prince Charming.

When it opens: March 12

03
Insurgent

Insurgent

So what if we're a little bit obsessed with the Divergent series? Insurgent, the second movie in the franchise, looks way sexier than the first, plus there's sure to be tons of action from Tris (Shailene Woodley), Four (Theo James), and the whole crew.

04
Furious 7
Universal Pictures

Furious 7

Furious 7 looks like a seriously good time, but it's also Paul Walker's last film. We'll see it as big fans of the franchise and because honestly, we really miss Walker. Until April, we'll be busy analyzing these pictures from the movie.

When it opens: April 3

05
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Disney

Avengers: Age of Ultron

By now, we've all heard about Marvel's big plans for the future, but let's take things one step at a time. Avengers: Age of Ultron is the next big film to hit theaters, and you might be surprised about what's in store — besides the new kids on the block, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), of course.

When it opens: May 1

06
Pitch Perfect 2
Universal Pictures

Pitch Perfect 2

Prepare to be aca-amazed by the Barden Bellas once again. We've already gotten the first pictures and the trailer for Pitch Perfect 2, but we won't be satisfied until Anna Kendrick gives us another track as catchy as "Cups."

When it opens: May 15

07
Mad Max: Fury Road
Warner Bros.

Mad Max: Fury Road

It doesn't matter if you've seen the original Mad Max; the upcoming reboot looks absolutely bonkers. Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, and Nicholas Hoult are all starring, and their futuristic makeovers are enough to check it out.

When it opens: May 15

08
Tomorrowland
Disney

Tomorrowland

Admittedly, we don't know much about Tomorrowland, but we do at least have a trailer with a little peek at George Clooney. He and Britt Robertson star in the movie based on the world at Disney's parks. We can trust director Brad Bird; he's responsible for The Incredibles.

When it opens: May 22

09
Entourage
HBO

Entourage

The boys are back in town! At least, they will be in June, anyway. The Entourage movie has finally become a reality, and we can't even hide the fact that we're excited to see Vince (Adrian Grenier), Ari (Jeremy Piven), and the Hollywood gang back together.

When it opens: June 5

10
Jurassic World
Universal Pictures

Jurassic World

Jurassic World is the perfect recipe for a hit Summer blockbuster. You have a buff Chris Pratt, a nostalgic franchise people want to revisit, and dinosaurs. The trailer literally made us gasp, and there's a chance we already printed out some of Pratt's pictures for our cubicles.

When it opens: June 12

11
Inside Out
Disney

Inside Out

As far as we're concerned, Pixar can do no wrong. The trailer for Inside Out has already charmed us, and the movie, which personifies the emotions in a young girl's head, looks like something everyone can love. (Even if you're older than 12.)

When it opens: June 19

12
Paper Towns

Paper Towns

John Green basically made us feel every feeling we could possibly feel during The Fault in Our Stars, and yes, we're already lining up for his next adaptation. The cast of Paper Towns features some of our favorite Hollywood up-and-comers, including Nat Wolff. It's another high school romance, but this one has a mysterious twist.

When it opens: June 19

13
Ted 2
Universal Pictures

Ted 2

Ted may have been offensive, vulgar, and quite rude to Brandon Routh, but it still made us laugh really hard. The sequel is swapping Mila Kunis for Amanda Seyfried, but Mark Wahlberg and his bear buddy (voiced by writer/director Seth MacFarlane) will still be the stars. Fingers crossed for another epic CGI fight scene!

When it opens: June 26

14
Pan
Warner Bros.

Pan

There's a lot of action in the trailer for Pan, Joe Wright's take on the classic tale. Hugh Jackman plays the villain, Blackbeard, alongside an especially sexy Garrett Hedlund as a young Hook and Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily. The visuals look gorgeous, and we really need to see more of Jackman and his crazy look.

When it opens: July 24

Magic Mike XXL

Magic Mike XXL

Magic Mike introduced so much sexiness to the big screen that we're placing bets on whether it can top itself with the supersized sequel. Pictures from the set and behind-the-scenes Instagrams confirm that we're about to see some awesome stuff.

When it opens: July 1

16
Minions
Universal Pictures

Minions

If you've seen Despicable Me, you probably love minions. But do you love them so much that you'll see a whole movie about them? The trailer for Minions is straight-up adorable, and even if you don't have kids, you get to hear Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, and Michael Keaton. Everybody wins!

When it opens: July 10

17
Ant-Man
Disney

Ant-Man

There's nothing not to love about Paul Rudd, and he's taking on a completely new challenge by portraying Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man. Though we don't have a trailer for the film yet, we can't wait to see Evangeline Lilly, Judy Greer, Michael Douglas, and the rest of the impressive cast.

When it opens: July 17

Trainwreck

Trainwreck

Amy Schumer is one of our favorite comedy stars, and a movie written by her, directed by Judd Apatow, and starring Daniel Radcliffe, Marisa Tomei, Tilda Swinton, and Bill Hader sounds like a slam dunk. We've already seen some awesomely weird set pictures, but we'll have to wait for plot details.

When it opens: July 17

19
Crimson Peak

Crimson Peak

Why yes, we will see pretty much anything with Tom Hiddleston in it. But Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak, a period piece about a woman (Jessica Chastain) who discovers her husband has some dark secrets, has us particularly intrigued. Hiddleston looked quite dapper on the set, and we'd like to see that suit in motion.

When it opens: Oct. 16

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2
Lionsgate

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2

We loved every minute of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, and though we're sad that the franchise is concluding, we're really excited to see the final chapter. Prepare for the final showdown between Katniss and President Snow!

When it opens: Nov. 20

Sisters

Sisters

Formerly known as The Nest, this comedy stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as sisters throwing a party at their parents' house. Did we have you at "Tina Fey and Amy Poehler"? Thought so. If not, let the set pictures convince you.

When it opens: Dec. 19

23
Mission Impossible 5
Paramount Pictures

Mission Impossible 5

We're always excited about a new Mission Impossible movie, and since 2011's Ghost Protocol was so good, we're hoping the next installment can keep up the momentum!

When it opens: Dec. 25
