Just in case you weren't aware of this yet, Georgia Rule opens this Friday May 11 and it stars Lindsay Lohan in a role that seems like it was made for her. She plays a rebellious young lady whose mother (Felicity Huffman, who I love) sends her to live with her strict-but-loving grandmother (Jane Fonda). I'm excited to see this movie because the two older women are awesome, and, admittedly I'm curious to watch Lindsay Lohan do something for the cameras besides flashing the peace sign or her unmentionables. I'll post my review on Friday. You can watch the trailer and tell me what you think if you read more

I actually kinda like it! i think I'm going to watch it as soon as it hits the theaters here in the Netherlands.....or maybe I will just wait until its at moviemax and rent it
?
1I am so torn...I want to see it cuz I loooove Felicity but I don't want LiLo to think the draw to the movie is HER like Kirsten Drunkst does with Spiderman LOL
2I'm really curious about this one. I like Lindsey, but I really don't think she has been in anything she would get credit for making or breaking. After all the talk of her clubbing during the making of this, I'm interested to see what kind of acting she does. Jane said she was "brilliant" in it.

3Wenty's got a nice ass eh?
Ouch..This looks horrible.
And Jinx, what was she sopposed to say?"Lindsay sucked"?
4Anyway, she is basically playing herself..
I don't think Jane Fonda has any problem saying what she thinks. I know some actors are forced to be politically correct, but I doubt Ms. Fonda would go on about how LL was brilliant, and she was moved by her performance if she didn't believe it.
But go ahead and judge without seeing it, whatever.

they really all look alike, good casting I guess... I'm not sure I'd watch it when it premieres in the movies, maybe in a few weeks time hehe
6I want to see Lindsay in this movie...
7I thought it was Felicity who said she was "brilliant." Jane didn't even want her at the premier!! I remember LL talking about this movie like it was some big really important role, but it just seems like a chick-flick to me...
8This one will get added to my DVD list. Jane, Felicity and Lindsey each seems well cast for their roles. It's probably not a great film, but hopefully it will be good for what it is.
9i love felicity huffman, and kinda like lindsay's movies, but from what i can tell, it looks watchable. prolly rent this one rather then shell out $12 to see it at a theatre.
10I believe the article I read was on MSN Today, but I can't find it now. I did use a couple quotes as signatures though.
11The Jane Fonda quote was: "I think she's a fantastic actress and I think she's just brilliant in this movie. She moved me to pieces. Basically, she's a nice girl, but she was late a few times."
She goes onto say that Lindsey was late, and she went to her trailer and told her to hurry up. She said Lindsey said to her make up artist, "Barbarella just yelled at me". The article seemed light enough. I'm just going by what I read. I thought it was Felicity and her husband that had their asses in a knot over LL. *shrugs*
it's REALLY not like that in idaho. i would know...i have relatives there. they messed up idaho in napoleon dynamite too. ugh.
12As someone who's never been to Idaho, I don't think Napolean Dynamite did any disservice to the state. I didn't even realise they were in Idaho.
13I'm slightly tempted to go and watch it at the theatre, but I'm a bit afraid it might just end up being another typical American comedy. I'm curious to see if Lindsay Lohan can still be a good actress, though.
