Adam Sandler's next movie is titled Grown Ups and follows a bunch of high school friends who reunite 30 years after graduation, but it also appears to be serving as a real-life reunion for a whole team of former Saturday Night Live performers. A few comedic actors were cast a while back, including Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider, and today there's talk of more coming on board. Tim Meadows is joining the cast, which now also features Maya Rudolph, Norm Macdonald, Colin Quinn and actor/SNL writer Tim Herlihy.
This should be interesting, to say the least. Some of these folks have been responsible for a few of your favorite SNL sketches, though I wonder if there are any other SNL veterans who could round out the cast even more. Steve Martin, Darrell Hammond, Amy Poehler, Will Ferrell, Molly Shannon, Sheri Oteri?

If this isn't HIGH-LARIOUS, I will be sooo mad.
130 years after graduation?? Then they would be around 48 years old...it seems like a 20 year reunion would make more sense unless they age Adam, Maya, etc. Oh well..
Anyway, this looks pretty exciting. I love these former SNL castmembers so I will probably check it out.
2The cast for this keeps getting better and better!
3I am definitely looking forward to this film; should be hilarious. I love all of the actors chosen so far. Yay!
4They filmed in my town this summer! it was crazyy!!!
5Ok, yeah, I think maybe 20 years would have been a little better but, with this cast I would take anything. The movie sounds hilarious! I love the concept so far LOL I am so ready for a comedy that will make me laugh out loud and this sneak peek def had me crackin up out loud
