For my weekly blast from the past, Hot Buzz Time Machine, I usually look to what's happening in the pop culture moment, but this week I'm looking at the calendar for something more important: Mother's Day!

Since I've already been semi-serious with my Mom's Day celebration and showed you great examples in movie mothers, now I'm going for laughs. When Saturday Night Live sent up the dowdy denim mostly seen on the maternal type a few years ago, it was hilarious — and it still is. Watch it with your mom, or anyone who's still into the high-waisted jean trend.
