Modern Family Wins the Emmy For Outstanding Comedy Series

No surprises here — Modern Family is taking home the Emmy for outstanding comedy series for the second year in a row! It beat out The Big Bang Theory, Parks and Recreation, Glee, The Office, and 30 Rock. Considering how many trophies the comedy racked up tonight, this was a pretty sure thing. Are you happy for the cast and crew?

I think Modern Family is very funny, but I'm not sure it deserved this award. All the other shows nominated were outstanding.

ugh. I love love love this show but honestly I was tired of Modern Family winning everything tonight. I definitely think they deserve this award but it would have been nice to see Parks and Rec get it or The Office. I still can't believe they didn't give it to Steve Carell. Jim Parsons was funny for one season and now every joke of his is recycled. He still makes the show but I don't understand how he won against Steve. Steve would have created a beautiful moment on stage but instead we got a speech from someone who won the award last year. How boring.
