25 Reasons Haley and Andy Need to Be Modern Family's Next Major Couple

Modern Family is in its hilarious seventh season, and while the show is usually about funny familial hijinks, it also has a big issue we're thinking about when we're not watching: Andy and Haley. These two have been dancing around each other for the past couple of seasons, and things seem like they're coming to a head for the two obvious soulmates. Now he just needs to get rid of his totally-wrong-for-him fiancé, Beth. Since the two know they have feelings for each other but still aren't together, it's time we make our case for this couple. Here are all the reasons Andy and Haley are Modern Family's next major couple.

It starts with Haley not taking Andy — Joe's manny — very seriously.

Until he starts saying stuff like this.

Like a lot of friendships that turn into more, they use each other for love advice first.

Like with Andy's girlfriend, Beth.

Haley doesn't exactly get their relationship.

Because she's never had a boyfriend like Andy.

Ever.

But she needs one.

They have some flirty moments for just being friends.

Very flirty moments.

More-than-friends moments.

Haley's feelings for Andy come very slowly to her.

And she expresses it by making him see that Beth isn't good for him.

Which he doesn't want to see, of course.

But it's one of their first big breakthroughs.

When Andy is unconscious, Haley finally gets the guts to confess her feelings.

But, like I said . . .

He's unconscious.

Their chemistry finally comes to a head . . .

One day in Joe's room . . .

Things are said.

A hug is initiated.

But this happens instead.

I mean, even Haley's parents can see these two are meant to be.

If only they can figure it out.
