Matthew McConaughey [1] was being celebrated at this year's Oscar Nominees Luncheon [2], and when it came time for him to answer some questions from reporters, it's no surprise that he was asked about his red carpet style. McConaughey good-naturedly told the room, "I have been having a good time! This season there's been a lot of opportunity to wear a lot of nice things, so I did say, 'You know what? Let's get some fine suits.'" McConaughey added that he got a bit of inspiration at a photo shoot where he worked with someone to find some award-season duds, and he laid out his red carpet dressing rule: "Throw it off just a little bit, but also keep it classy."

As for how he's going to celebrate if he wins best actor, McConaughey didn't want to jinx himself: "Oh, I haven't thought that far ahead! I'm going to celebrate no matter what. I am already in celebration mode; I'm going to enjoy this. This is my first time being nominated, and if I ever get nominated again, who knows? But there's never going to be another first time."
