Anna Kendrick teamed up with her New Moon costar Kellan Lutz last night for the second annual Golden Globes Salute to Young Hollywood Party.

Anna Kendrick teamed up with her New Moon costar Kellan Lutz last night for the second annual Golden Globes Salute to Young Hollywood Party. Your favorite rising star of 2009 was fresh off an appearance on The Late Show to promote Up in the Air, while Kellan took the evening off from hanging out with his new pup Kevin. Kellan had a little vampire competition on the red carpet, in the form of True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard. His usual companion, girlfriend Kate Bosworth, wasn't there, but they were together Monday for a bash at the Chateau Marmont.

Also representing the undead crew were The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, who stayed close to pals Chris Klein and James Van Der Beek throughout the night. Emmanuelle Chriqui was decked out for the bash, as were Jordana Brewster and Maggie Gyllenhaal. Ashley Tisdale mingled with fellow blonde Brittany Snow, while Olivia Wilde made the rounds with her husband Tao.

Kate, Nicole and Eva Share the Spotlight With CNN's Heroes

Anderson Cooper was the man of the evening on Saturday as he hosted the annual CNN Heroes Awards.

Anderson Cooper was the man of the evening on Saturday as he hosted the annual CNN Heroes Awards. The ceremony honored ten individuals who go above and beyond with their contribution to the world, and each was introduced to the crowd by a celebrity guest. Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, and Eva Mendes were a few of the ladies on hand to do the honors, while Carrie Underwood performed. The evening's biggest award, CNN's Hero of the Year, went to Efren Peñaflorida because of his efforts to bring education to underprivileged children in the Philippines. Kate and Nicole took the evening off from promoting Nine, though they were both out again last night for the American Music Awards. The ladies were joined by other actors like Neil Patrick Harris and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and we'll be able to see the whole show when it airs Thanksgiving evening.

The sexy dresses came out in LA for last night's party celebrating Maxim's 10th Anniversary Hot 100 list.

The sexy dresses came out in LA for last night's party celebrating Maxim's 10th Anniversary Hot 100 list. Heidi Montag had been twittering all day about how happy she is to have made the list, so of course she and Spencer happily posed on the red carpet. The 100's number-one lady, Olivia Wilde, couldn't make the soiree, but a few other of the listworthy ladies kept the party going. LC, who was the star of the party last year, didn't make it in 2009, but Audrina came in at number 57. Kim was the only Kardashian who made it on the list, but her sisters Khloe and Kourtney still strutted their stuff. There's always next year, right?

Ben Affleck took the stage at the Children Mending Hearts Gala at the House of Blues in LA last night to present the year's humanitarian award to Anderson Cooper.

Ben Affleck took the stage at the Children Mending Hearts Gala at the House of Blues in LA last night to present the year's humanitarian award to Anderson Cooper. Before handing the mic over to Cooper, Ben spoke about the Congo, a cause close to his heart and about which he wrote for Time magazine this week. When Ben stepped off the stage, he found a special surprise waiting back at his seat — Jennifer Garner snuck in to watch him and give him kisses at the table before ducking out 20 minutes later. The Madden brothers also came out for the good cause as did Marisa Tomei, who has an exciting weekend ahead as an Oscar Nominee.

Heroes Rundown Chapter 13: "Dual"

"On the sixth day, God created man in his own image.

"On the sixth day, God created man in his own image. Now it's up to us to figure it all out." Thus begins (in an opening narration by Sylar instead of Mohinder, which I think is a nice change of pace) the final episode in this Heroes volume, "Villains." As has been the case in many of the chapters of this volume, the episode explores what makes people good or evil, heroes or villains, etc. etc. etc.

Sylar plays a little psychological murder game with the foursome he's locked inside Primatech (Claire, Meredith, Angela, HRG), trying to make them kill each other. Meanwhile, Ando, Daphne and Parkman work to bring Hiro back to present-day and Nathan and Peter have differing opinions on what to do with the formula. For more on this episode, read more

Heroes Rundown Chapter Eleven: "The Eclipse, Part Two"

Ah, what the eclipse tooketh away, the return to normal sunlight has giveth (giveneth?) back.

Ah, what the eclipse tooketh away, the return to normal sunlight has giveth (giveneth?) back. The heroes (and villains, I guess) regain their powers after a harrowing eclipse, and everyone has learned a little something about him or herself. I really liked that spooky gray-light that the eclipse cast on everything. It added an element of drama that perhaps has been missing lately on Heroes.

Heroes Rundown Chapter Ten: "The Eclipse, Part I"

This week's episode of Heroes shows "there's a moment in every war when everything changes.

This week's episode of Heroes shows "there's a moment in every war when everything changes. . . No matter how much we resist the change. . . in the end, we're never truly ready when it strikes."

Arthur sketches all sorts of death and destruction, and then the eclipse begins and the heroes are surprised to find their powers diminished. It's kind of funny to see the characters try to use their powers, tilting their heads or twitching their fingers, and nothing happens. It all looks so silly.

While Paul Rudd hosted SNL this weekend, Justin Timberlake almost stole the show with his two hilarious appearances — check out his no pants dance moves after the jump. For the after party, the cast and friends headed to Dos Caminos to celebrate a successful show at the end of a long week of rehearsals. Jennifer Aniston joined in the fun, perhaps JT invited Mr. Mayer when they were chatting it up earlier in the week. Justin should be getting used to late nights in the city that never sleeps as he and Jessica are supposedly moving into a new $5.5 million condo soon. That lawsuit filed by a former worker at Southern Hospitality must not be too much skin off his back.
