MTV To Make My Super Psycho Sweet 16

Have you ever watched MTV's My Super Sweet 16 and found yourself saying, "Wow, what a nightmare"? Well it's about to get even scarier — MTV has ordered a made for TV movie based on the show, but with a horror film twist. My Super Pyscho Sweet Sixteen will tell the story of an upscale birthday bash turned bloodbath when a serial killer enters the equation.

If slasher movies aren't your thing, MTV's got two other not-quite-original films on the way. Turn the Beat Around will be the dance movie du jour, in addition to an unnamed project about a cheerleader who turns a geek into a popular kid.

Back in the day I enjoyed MTV's 2Gether a little more than I'd like to admit (you plus me equals us!) but I'm feeling iffy about these new ones. Then again, it could be kinda fun to watch those bratty teenagers from My Super Sweet 16 get their just desserts.
