The Little Prince Has a Release Date and a New Gorgeous Trailer

The animated adaption of The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, has been highly anticipated for months, and now there's some great news. Netflix has announced the movie's release date along with a brand-new trailer. The streaming service picked up the film in March, after Paramount Pictures unexpectedly dropped it from its schedule. A pilot's plane crashes in the desert, where he encounters a small, strange boy. The movie revolves around a young girl and her neighbor, an older man who is presumably the pilot. Mackenzie Foy, James Franco, Benicio Del Toro, Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, and Ricky Gervais are all voicing the US version, which will be released on Netflix and in select theaters on August 5.
