Well we survived another year of fun (or at least most of us did — looking at you, Lady Gaga) with the MTV Video Music Awards. There were plenty of interesting looks on the red carpet, but the good times began with the show. Whether you tuned in for all the Michael Jackson tributes, the performances, or the Twilight goodies, there was definitely a little something for everyone tonight.

Of course, there were a few awards distributed throughout the night between the acts. Kanye just about ripped poor Taylor Swift's moonman out of her hands in the name of "Single Ladies", but Beyonce didn't need his help — she took home best video of the year at the end of the night.
