Kristin Bauer van Straten, who plays Pam on True Blood, stops by our LA studio to discuss the show, Alexander Skarsgard, and her passion for saving wildlife with entertainment reporter Matthew Rodrigues.

The True Blood panel at Comic-Con is always a fun one, because we get to see new footage, the cast loves joking around, and well, it's an eye candy party. For this year's panel, Joe Manganiello, Alexander Skarsgard, Stephen Moyer, Sam Trammell, and Christopher Meloni showed up and looked hot, as did their female costars, Rutina Wesley, Deborah Ann Woll, Kristin Bauer, and Anna Paquin. Anna was glowing with her growing baby bump. The cast and creator Alan Ball (who is departing after this season) gave some details about the rest of season five, and they even got around to talking about Fifty Shades of Grey and Magic Mike — and we saw some hot moves from some of the panelists. Read on for the highlights.

What do a pair of evil fairy-tale villainesses do when they get together to hang out? This week's episode of Once Upon a Time has evil queen Regina (Lana Parrilla) reuniting with one of her oldest friends — or frenemies, as the case might be — Sleeping Beauty's evil sorceress Maleficent. Kristin Bauer will be stepping into the role, and I chatted with the actress about what happens when two power-hungry and vindictive gals get together, as well as how her True Blood character Pam influences everything from her roles to her marriage. Bauer also filled us in on the True Blood rumors she's most excited about!
BuzzSugar: Maleficent is the evil queen's oldest friend, but the pair have a troubled history. Can you tell us a little bit about their background?
Kristin Bauer: Lana is totally amazing and so helpful to me and such a master in this world on Once Upon a Time. We tried to find a way to show that this is a really long-standing chess match. You know, you've got these two power players, and they're chicks and they're vain and they play in this game of revenge and helping each other and then trading evilness to help each other and then there's a real shift we're gonna see on Sunday. It's a real fork in the road for the evil queen's character because we saw a big one in the pilot, where she wields the curse and sends everybody to reality, but they don't know they're in reality.
As for True Blood, we hear that we might get a window into Pam and Eric's origin story next season. What can you tell us about that?
KB: I have heard that as well, and I'm so excited about it and they tell us nothing. I cannot wait to see what that is. All I have is what I have been putting together in my mind for the last four years, which I'm sure once I see it on the screen it will be so much better.
Buzz: Do you have any thoughts on if Rutina Wesley is coming back? That is one of the biggest questions in my mind. What the heck happens there? I have so many questions in my mind because I heard a rumor online that Pam dug up Russell Edgington and I have no idea why she would do that, but I thought, I don't know why she'd do that, but how much fun if she did. I just can't wait to see what I'm responsible for. I have no idea on any of it. They're really smart, they just don't tell us.

It's not every day that you get beauty tips from a vampire, or at least someone who plays one on television. But we did! At the party for Tarte Cosmetics's new limited-edition True Blood line at Sephora, Kristin Bauer, who plays Pam on HBO's True Blood, shared her thoughts on the collaboration, how her beauty routine compares to her character's, and what other Fashion Week plans she has this season. Watch the video to find out how Kristin stays so fang-tabulous.
Alexander Skarsgard celebrated his magazine cover at BlackBook's 15 Year Anniversary with Tequila Don Julio and Heineken at PH-D Rooftop Lounge at the Dream hotel in NYC last night. He actually shares the honor with his Straw Dogs costar Kate Bosworth, but she wasn't on hand for the bash. Kate and Alex, who started dating while making the movie, recently split up and have been handling their press solo. Alexander was able to party with the publication since he's in the Big Apple shooting What Maisie Knew. He logged a long day on the set and didn't do any interviews, but his True Blood castmate Kristin Bauer was happy to talk about how close their HBO family has become while working together. Kristin told us she came out just to support Alexander! How to Make It in America's Bryan Greenberg also turned out and shared a little about his excitement for Fashion Week. Bryan said, "I'm going to check out a couple shows. I'm also playing my music. I'm doing a little East Coast tour — that's part of the reason I'm out here . . . just here to do a little research and check out the whole fashion world since I'm still learning about it."
Vampire Pam on True Blood is having some terrifying facial issues this season, but actress Kristin Bauer looks stunning as ever. At this year's Comic-Con, Exclusive Artists Management celebrity makeup artist Agostina Lombardo created an updated 1950s look for her. "I wanted to stay away from a classic red lip," Lombardo explained, "so I chose a red-brown color instead, which to me keeps it more modern." Love the palette? The beautiful men of True Blood stepped out in LA on Saturday night to discuss their show at the Paley Center. Joe Manganiello and Alexander Skarsgard posed without their respective lady friends, Audra Marie and Kate Bosworth, but Stephen Moyer had his wife and costar Anna Paquin by his side. They headed inside with their fellow HBO stars Rutina Wesley, Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell, Kristin Bauer, and Debra Ann Woll to share a bit about their upcoming fourth season. The books, which inspired the series, may be coming to a close, but there's a lot more shirtless goodness for fans to look forward to on HBO. Alexander spoke about his character, Eric, who apparently suffers from amnesia after what went down in the somewhat disappointing last episodes. He said, "This powerful character is just gone—it's not what we've built up over the past three years; it is just gone. And it's a lot of fun for me because it's the polar opposite of who Eric really is. . . He is lost. He doesn't know how he is, he knows he's a vampire, but he slowly finds out stuff, like, 'Did I do that? I killed those people? Why would I do that? Oh. Really?' It's not easy to hear — and not knowing who he can trust, who's a friend or an enemy. He's very vulnerable."
The cast of The Vampire Diaries took the Scream Awards stage together, and True Blood's Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin went hand in hand on the red carpet. David Arquette made his first official postseparation appearance, though Emma Roberts tells us David and Courteney Cox got along great on set. Check it out on PopSugar Rush!
