It's wierd; this is the first year that I can remember where the films with the best acting, directing, and writing are all different. The Social Network is the best written, and therefore best movie of the year (I would say that's my opinion, but that would be like saying chocolate is better than vanilla - it's a fact). However (this I will say is my opinion even though I see no argument otherwise), Inception was the best directed movie of the year and it is an absolute crime that Christopher Nolan was not recognized. And yet, The King's Speech undoubtedly had the best acting (although The Fighter was a close second). I personally love how it's spread out this year; it shows how complex the success of a movie as an art form can be...
