Another Lipstick Jungle leading lady is moving on. Following Lindsay Price's casting in Eastwick, Kim Raver has just landed a role in Inside the Box, a pilot from Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes about a Washington, DC news bureau.
She's not straying too far from the media maven she played in Lipstick: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Raver's character is "a knockout blond reporter who once was considered the next Diane Sawyer." She'll star alongside Sarah Drew and Jason George, with Drew playing a young reporter and George a bureau correspondent.
Like Price's role, Raver's casting is technically second fiddle to Lipstick — if NBC decides to renew the show, they'd still be back to play Nico and Victory.

I still hope LJ gets renewed, but if that doesn't happen i might watch this show. I really don't like Shonda Rhimes, but i love Kim Raver.
1well i guess this just shows us that LJ isn't coming back for sure now that 2/3 of the leads are in new shows. i just hope that they do well since i really do like the talent of each of the ladies.
2Noooooooo! I didn't like Kim in Third Watch, I didn't like Kim in Lipstick Jungle, and I doubt I'll like Kim in Inside the Box. Bummer, the casting had intrigued me up to this point.
3I agree with cibele. I think Shonda always starts out strong on her new shows and then things just get out of hand. And I love Kim Raver. I just don't know about this.
