Rooney Mara was there to support her sister, Kate Mara, on the red carpet at last night's House of Cards premiere party in NYC. Rooney wore an all-black Band of Outsiders ensemble, the same outfit she also wore to a special Q&A for her upcoming film Side Effects with Jude Law yesterday. Meanwhile, Kate wore a silver Dolce & Gabbana dress, which she paired with black platform sandals.

Kate stars in the new series — which begins streaming on Netflix on Feb. 1 — alongside Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, who both attended the premiere fete. The political drama follows a ruthless politician, played by Kevin, who makes plenty of enemies as he attempts to win the presidency. The series is based on the hit UK miniseries from 1990. Other celebrity guests at the premiere included Natasha Lyonne, Kim Cattrall, and newlyweds Amber Tamblyn and David Cross.

Demi Moore Is a Solo Lady in Red For NYC Margin Call Premiere

Demi Moore wore a slim-cut red sheath dress and towering Brian Atwood heels at the Margin Call premiere in NYC on Monday evening.

Demi Moore wore a slim-cut red sheath dress and towering Brian Atwood heels at the Margin Call premiere in NYC on Monday evening. Demi was solo for the screening, but she kept a big smile on her face and her wedding ring on her finger despite the persistent rumors about the state of her marriage. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have yet to attend an event together since the infidelity stories broke last month, though they were reportedly spotted visiting a Kabbalah center together over the weekend in LA. Demi and Ashton were also photographed camping outside Santa Barbara earlier this month and there were moving trucks outside of their home last week that sparked even more speculation. While neither half of the couple have yet to publicly address the situation, Demi and Ashton are still going about their business. In addition to promoting her Lifetime project Five, he was on his own on Friday at Bill Clinton's star-studded 65th birthday bash.

Watch Kevin Spacey Get His Beard On and His Life Back Together in the Father of Invention Trailer

We're all guilty of staying up late and getting sucked into infomercials, but if you've ever wondered about the personal lives of the people shilling the goods (let's just forget about the ShamWow guy), Father of Invention might appeal to you.

We're all guilty of staying up late and getting sucked into infomercials, but if you've ever wondered about the personal lives of the people shilling the goods (let's just forget about the ShamWow guy), Father of Invention might appeal to you. Kevin Spacey stars as Robert Axle, an inventor and infomercial star until his latest gadget, the Ab Clicker, injures people rather than making their lives better. He's sent to prison, and the film fast forwards to his release, when he's trying to pick up the pieces of his life. His wife (Virginia Madsen) has moved on with Craig Robinson, and his daughter (Camilla Belle) has nothing but contempt for him.

Luckily, a dead-end job leads to some hope, if he can get a co-worker to help him (a strait-laced Johnny Knoxville). Father of Invention has all the makings of a wacky comedy — it's especially funny to see Axle pitch new ideas (to John Stamos, no less) for things that already exist, like Rock Band's microphone or MP3 players. The Margin Call Trailer Gives You a Front Seat to Wall Street's Collapse

Real-life events are often the best material for movies, and the film Margin Call has seized the 2008 collapse of Wall Street.

Real-life events are often the best material for movies, and the film Margin Call has seized the 2008 collapse of Wall Street. The fallout was, and still is, devastating, but the trailer makes it look unabashedly thrilling. After an investment banker (Stanley Tucci) is laid off from a financial firm, he hands off a flash drive to fellow employee (Zachary Quinto) who realizes that it holds an equation that predicts the fall of their firm (and the whole stock market). When the big wigs at the company learn this info, they do what they can to avoid their own destruction in the wake of the economic collapse — no matter what the moral cost.

If the Wall Street drama isn't enough to spark your interest, the star-studded cast should do the trick. Kevin Spacey, Demi Moore, Penn Badgley, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, and Simon Baker make up the roster. Watch the trailer and let me know what you think when you read more

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston Hits the London Photo Call For Horrible Bosses in Black Leather!

Jennifer Aniston rocked a black leather minidress this morning for a London photo call on behalf of Horrible Bosses.

Jennifer Aniston rocked a black leather minidress this morning for a London photo call on behalf of Horrible Bosses. She had her main men from the movie by her side, including Kevin Spacey, Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Charlie Day. Jennifer and the guys recently did press for the film back home in the States, including a junket in NYC and a premiere in LA. Jason, Charlie, and Jason said Jennifer will shock fans with her raunchy role — playing against type is one of the reasons the movie did so well at the US box office. The Horrible Bosses reviews were great, too, and now fans will see if Jen can repeat her success in Europe. Jennifer has spent time between movie duties with her main man Justin Theroux. He shaved and dressed up to attend Jennifer's Walk of Fame ceremony last month, and it seems his love of leather may even have inspired her ensemble today.

The 2011 Critics Choice Awards made for a star-studded night in Hollywood on Friday. It was a gorgeous evening when all the nominees and award season favorites hit the red carpet dressed to the nines before heading in for the big show. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were particularly loving and affectionate throughout the night, though his movie The Town didn't take home any statues. His friend Matt Damon did accept the Joel Seigel trophy and he stepped backstage afterwards where he posed with Emily Blunt and Jimmy Kimmel and talked about the possibility of another Bourne movie. Ryan Gosling sat close by his Blue Valentine costar Michelle Williams and the two shared an intimate chat at their table. Pregnant Natalie Portman was glowing all night long and Emma Stone was so adorable congratulating Hailee Steinfeld and complementing Andrew Garfield's Spider-man. Check out all our press room coverage and don't forget to vote in all our fashion and beauty polls on Fab and Bella! We'll be doing it all again tomorrow night at the Golden Globe Awards and there's still time to fill out your ballot for a chance to win $1000!
