Katie Cassidy to Guest Star on Gossip Girl

Melrose Place may be officially dunzo, but it looks like Katie Cassidy is landing on her feet (what else would you expect from the formerly hard-nosed Ella Simms?). Not only is Cassidy currently on location for Monte Carlo, but she'll soon be relocating to the Upper East Side. The actress has signed on for a multi-episode arc on Gossip Girl where she'll be romancing Nate Archibald — and stirring up trouble for everyone else, of course.
