Last night's MTV Movie Awards in LA brought out plenty of stars ready to take the spotlight. Charlize Theron posed in a red-hot Lanvin dress while Jenna Dewan arrived on the arm of husband, Channing Tatum. They were just a few of the famous faces to stop for the cameras on the star-studded red carpet. Inside, there were golden popcorns to be given out, with Kristen Stewart, Josh Hutcherson, and Jennifer Aniston all taking home awards. Johnny Depp was not only a winner but made a surprise musical performance, and Jessica Biel shared the stage with Kate Beckinsale.

The Hunger Games costars Elizabeth Banks and Josh Hutcherson joined forces on the red carpet at this evening's MTV Movie Awards in LA. The blockbuster movie is up for tons of golden popcorn statues at this year's event, and it's poised to perhaps take over some of the categories — like the coveted best kiss title — from the Twilight franchise. Elizabeth showed off some skin in an Elie Saab outfit while Josh kept things casual in his hat. Unfortunately they won't be joined by Katniss herself, Jennifer Lawrence, at the show. Soon enough they'll all be getting back into character for Catching Fire, and casting rumors are heating up. The latest is that the role of Finnick could be going to Armie Hammer.

According to Zillow, Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson has just purchased a Hollywood Hills home for $2.5 million. The house, a midcentury-modern property surrounded by trees, is no stranger to celebrity residents. Prior owners include Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams, as well as Ellen DeGeneres.

While it's only a little over 1,800 square feet, this two-bedroom, two-bath home boasts an additional 2,500 square feet of outdoor living space, with patios galore as well as an outdoor screening room. Keep clicking to tour the house.

Josh Hutcherson was honored with the Vanguard Award tonight in downtown LA at the GLAAD Media Awards. The celebration honored actors, entertainers, TV shows, and films that have helped support the LGBT community through their work. Joshua Jackson, Milla Jovovich, Betty White, Ali Larter, and Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were also in attendance to lend their support to the cause. Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson was yet another guest of honor and accepted an award on behalf of his hit sitcom during the ceremony.

We caught up with Josh on the press line to talk about his campaign for Straight Not Narrow, which is geared toward combating homophobia, and the most inspiring letter he received from a teen who was touched by its message. We also spoke with him about the news that Francis Lawrence, the director behind Water For Elephants and I Am Legend, will helm Catching Fire. Josh admitted to us that he hasn't yet met Francis but expressed excitement about working with him on the second installment of the franchise, which is set to hit theaters in the Fall of 2013. Josh Hutcherson and Freida Pinto were among the celebs — and past and present Nylon cover stars — who turned out to celebrate the magazine's 13th anniversary last night in LA. The celebration was held at Smashbox Studios in Hollywood. Freida arrived in a Prada dress before settling into the VIP section with her friends and her talent agent. Josh, sporting a fedora and sunglasses despite the late hour, arrived with a friend a while after, and was one of several actors from The Hunger Games at the bash. Dayo Okeniyi, Jacqueline Emerson, and Alexander Ludwig were also at the soiree, and the costars stopped to pose for several photos together during the festivities. The Hunger Games' stars are still riding high on their movie's continued streak of success at the box office. Last weekend, it even beat out the 3D relaunch of Titanic both here and in the UK to take the number-one spot.
