Jon Cryer is the winner of the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Two and a Half Men. He beat out Kevin Dillon, Neil Patrick Harris, Rainn Wilson, Tracy Morgan, and Jack McBrayer.

I was really pulling for NPH, but at least Cryer kept his speech short, sweet, and admittedly funny. What do you think about this win?

Jon Cryer is the reason i watch Two and A half Men. The guy is brilliant! I am so happy he got the award, he was the most deserving He should have gotten it a long time ago even, As for the guy in 30 rock, just awful

I guess I am in the minority here, but I have sat through multiple episodes of How I Met Your Mother and haven't laughed once. I think Two and a half Men is well written and acted. Congrats Jon!

i agree shmoo15, it's one of the unfunniest shows i've ever seen. The only time i've actually sat thru a full 30 mins of it was on an american airlines flight.

Can't believe he won! NPH or Rainn Wilson are much more entertaining and off beat!

I have great respect for Cryer because let's face it, he was in Pretty in Pink. But let's face it, he's not the best.

I am so excited for Jon Cryer! Two and a 1/2 men is a great show, and Jon is my favorite on it. He is an exceptionally talented actor with top notch comedic timing. This has been a long time coming for him and I'm glad he finally got the recognition he deserves! Congratulations Jon :-)

dont. understand. I am so angry that NPH didn't win... i really felt it was his year too. and... if you want to go with the theory that one you have been nominated for a category a bazillion times, you should win.. then WHY DIDNT HUGH LAURIE WIN????? Not. Happy.

I watch CBS Monday night. Two and Half Men is not a funny show. I don't understand this winner.

Awful choice. Him and his show is just not funny! I was totally pulling for NPH or Jim Parsons, actually. Oh, and I agree with myfairlady93 - you don't give it to somebody just because they've been nominated before and haven't won. *sigh*

This REALLY ticked me off. NPH or Rainn Wilson should have won. But no........just because someone's been nominated four times and hasn't won yet, let's have him win, even though his show is NOT AT ALL FUNNY Wow...I sound extremely angry.
