Jimmy Kimmel Portrays Jay Leno on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Guest Chevy Chase Dresses as Conan O'Brien

If you happened to catch last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live, you may have noticed that Kimmel was MIA — and had been replaced by Jay Leno. Kimmel stepped in to Leno's, er, chin to portray the late-night host, complete with his bouffant and speech impediment. But the real kicker: guest Chevy Chase stepped out wearing a red Conan O'Brien wig, and even did O'Brien's signature hair shake.

The bit is hilarious, but it wasn't all laughs; Chase also took the opportunity to comment on The Tonight Show situation and O'Brien's recent statement, saying that he thinks O'Brien will stay put — and Leno will get the boot. I don't know that I agree, given that NBC seems to be 100 percent behind making Leno's show work (even if it kills them and the rest of the lineup), but I know most of you probably like the suggestion.
