The big moment we've all been waiting for is just about here: Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly will finally be married in an hour-long special episode of The Office tonight!
NBC (and the entertainment world in general) has gone all-out for the event, including an EW cover, video teasers, talk show appearances, even their own wedding site.
I can't wait to finally see Pam and Jim tie the knot, but you'd almost think we were being prepped for the series finale given all the promotion. What do you think — are you more excited than ever or is there too much buildup to Jim and Pam's big day?

i am totally psyched about the wedding!!! i completely support getting it all hyped up! I say go all out NBC! You rock the Halpert Beesly wedding all you want because how many times a year does a couple that actually belongs together actually get married? (even if fictional) I LOVE IT!!
1I haven't seen any NBS adverts about the wedding! So no
2I don't think it's a "milestone" for TV in general but I am so so so excited for it !
3Can't wait!
4I think it's way overhyped, but then again, I think the Office is way overhyped in general. (Don't get me wrong, I watch it, I just don't have the same level of obsession that a lot of other people seem to have with it.)
5I really like the office, but the laughter has been tamed for a while now. I don't find it as funny as I did in the beginning
6I would have liked their wedding better if it was BEFORE baby. It seems less special / more trashy this way.
7f the haters! i am sooo excited!! =)
8Nope. I just saw the episode and loved it.
9gidgetgirl, how is it trashy? They were in a committed relationship that was heading down the isle. So it's out of the traditional order. It's not as though they got married because she was pregnant.
Just saw the last 15 minutes by accident while flipping channel. I think the wedding's rather sweet. I didn't realize the hype at all, then again, I hardly watch NBC these days.
I watched 'The Office' a long time ago (never caught on the hype), it was when Pam was engaged to this other guy... I thought Jim was so cute crushing on her that time. So awww, they're married now
10I actually though the episode was a bit lacking - it was very funny and sweet, but; even though they did show them getting married at Niagra Falls (which I think is so cool); they didn't show the church wedding - which I really wanted to see. I don't think the concept was overhyped, but I do think the episode did not meet expectations (at least not mine)...
