Every other Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. The reader who submits the best cast wins a BuzzSugar t-shirt!

Great minds certainly think alike, as was proven by this week's recast challenge for Jerry Maguire. Many people agreed that the best person to play Rod Tidwell would be Donald Faison (and, while Faison's an excellent choice, I also liked WhiplashGirlchild and jlgb4008's suggestion of Weeds' Romany Malco).

On the other hand, ideas for who should play Jerry Maguire himself were all over the place, from Ryan Reynolds (a popular suggestion) to Christian Bale (ohmondieu) to Jason Dohring (sarahrah).

The ideas for the part of little Ray Boyd were probably the most entertaining, with some of you not attempting to replace the "perfect" Jonathan Lipnicki and many others suggesting the children of high-profile celebrities, like Cruz Beckham. Finally, I really loved Grantz's idea of Emily Blunt in the role of Dorothy Boyd. But I had to choose just one list from the bunch, and this week I went with mishale1's recast list!

• If you missed Amy Poehler's impression of Project Runway's Christian on SNL I highly recommend kicking your weekend off with this clip.
• ER has been around since 1994 and might be back for yet another season — and they're even courting older stars to return. The '90s are hot right now as the big news out of the CW is that they're looking at a spin-off of Beverly Hills 90210. Any characters from that hit show you'd like to see again?
• Check out the trailers for two cool action thriller trailers out right now: The Incredible Hulk starring Edward Norton and Righteous Kill starring super acting duo Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino. Norton also made news this week with talk about developing an Obama documentary.
• There was a lot of scary movie remake news this week that struck me as mostly odd, involving more Michael Bay projects and tomatoes that kill.
• What do you think of the new Breeders song? And did you hear? You'll be able to get the new REM album on Facebook!
• Some things don't need a part two — I'm looking at you, Lost Boys 2. However, somethings should be recast (just for fun!). What actors do you think could fill the big shoes of the characters in Jerry Maguire?
• Whether or not you thought letting Idol contestants sing the Beatles was blasphemous, America loved it, and next week the top 11 will be singing more from that songbook. Let's hope Kristy Lee Cook leaves the fiddles out this time.

For this recast challenge, let's take a look at director Cameron Crowe's Jerry Maguire, which earned Cuba Gooding Jr. an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor and launched Renée Zellweger into stardom.

If you could cast this movie with new actors, who do you think would convey the magnetism of sports agent Jerry Maguire? Who else besides Cuba could pull off the "show me the money" sequence, and what other actress could endearingly utter, "You had me at hello"?

Finally, Jonathan Lipnicki ran away with every scene he was in as Dorothy's son Ray Boyd. Is there a little guy out there you think would be adorable in that part as well?

The Super Bowl is this Sunday, so let's get the couch warmed up with a Movie Night. This week's theme: football movies. These three will make for good date-night viewing, since they have a little bit of something for everyone (assuming one of you is a football fan). I could make some lame sports/love pun here — something involving touchdowns, perhaps — but "My Boys" has put me off those forever. So just grab some beer and buffalo wings and enjoy the films.

Any Given Sunday
Though it leans a little heavy on the football-as-war metaphors, Oliver Stone's over-the-top football flick is better than you might think, with chaotic cinematography, a killer hip-hop soundtrack, and a sinister normalcy holding it all together. Here, we get the first hints that Jamie Foxx can act, as he plays the young hotshot to Dennis Quaid's aging quarterback on the fictional Miami Sharks pro squad. There are plenty of quiet acting gems in the big ensemble cast, including Matthew Modine as the conflicted team doctor. Offering surprising moments of depth for what, at times, feels like a music video, Any Given Sunday will rally football fans and non-fans alike.
