R.I.P.D. Trailer: Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges Are Dead Buddy Cops

Ryan Reynolds sure looks great for a dead guy in the trailer for R.I.P.D., where he plays Nick Walker, a Boston cop who gets killed in the line of duty but is soon called in to another job.

Ryan Reynolds sure looks great for a dead guy in the trailer for R.I.P.D., where he plays Nick Walker, a Boston cop who gets killed in the line of duty but is soon called in to another job. Nick is recruited to the R.I.P.D., a supernatural force that hunts down "deados" (you know, dead bad guys). Helping him navigate the new job is his partner, fellow deceased officer Roy Pulsipher (Jeff Bridges), a cowboy who's got some Colonel Sanders facial hair, mean-looking six-shooters, and a gruff attitude.

I did chuckle a little bit at some points during the trailer but in general, this movie looks pretty dumb. It doesn't help that it seems exactly like Men in Black, only with dead people instead of aliens. At least it has the benefit of easy-on-the-eyes Reynolds and his potentially good chemistry with Bridges. R.I.P.D. comes out this Summer on July 19, and you can check out the trailer after the jump.

Ryan Reynolds, Mary-Louise Parker, and Jeff Bridges got in front of the cameras to film R.I.P.D.

Ryan Reynolds, Mary-Louise Parker, and Jeff Bridges got in front of the cameras to film R.I.P.D. in LA yesterday. Ryan worked on the movie, which is set to hit theaters next Summer, in Boston last Fall, and this time he's teamed up with his costars for reshoots. He's back to work after celebrating Thanksgiving last week. Ryan and Blake Lively are marking their first holiday season together as newlyweds following their wedding in September. Images of their big day will be featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, which will be released in December. This time last year, Ryan and Blake escaped to a bed and breakfast in Utah, where they showed PDA on a romantic walk.

Snooki Puts Situation Rumors to Bed, Explains DTF to Jeff Bridges

Snooki covered a lot of ground last night when she visited The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. First off, she needed to put to bed any rumors that she and The Situation slept together. Once that was settled, Snooki shared the concept of her new perfume, which went from being pickle scented to a fragrance that would make sure the guys are DTF.

Fellow guest and Oscar winner Jeff Bridges, who was sitting next to the reality star, wasn't quite familiar with the Jersey Shore slang. So Snooki got straight to the point, providing him with the definition of DTF. Watch it now.

Armie Hammer, Hailee Steinfeld, Garrett Hedlund, and Elle Fanning Win Big at the Young Hollywood Awards

Hollywood's up-and-coming talent came together Friday night at LA's Club Nokia for the 13th annual Young Hollywood Awards.

Hollywood's up-and-coming talent came together Friday night at LA's Club Nokia for the 13th annual Young Hollywood Awards. The new face of Miu Miu, Hailee Steinfeld, stepped out in a black and white ensemble from the brand to accept the breakthrough of the year honor from her True Grit costar Jeff Bridges. More statues went out to Style Icon Camilla Belle, in a Tom Ford suit, and Star of Tomorrow Armie Hammer, who caught up with his hilarious Parks and Recreation star pal Aziz Ansari. Camilla stuck close by her supposed real-life leading man, Topher Grace. Grey's Anatomy's Jesse Williams was crowned TV actor of the year, while Elle Fanning had her Somewhere director Sofia Coppola's dad, Francis, on hand to witness her film actress of the year honor. Garrett Hedlund had Midnight in Paris star Michael Sheen on hand to pass on the film actor of the year distinction, and the awardees kept the good times rolling afterward with a party. The whole show airs Thursday night on the ION channel.

True Grit's Hailee, Josh, and Jeff Make a Pre-Oscars Stop in Berlin

Hailee Steinfeld shared a few laughs with her True Grit leading men, Josh Brolin and Jeff Bridges, at a Berlin photocall for the movie today.

Hailee Steinfeld shared a few laughs with her True Grit leading men, Josh Brolin and Jeff Bridges, at a Berlin photocall for the movie today. Jeff and Hailee headed to Germany to reunite with Josh after attending the Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon in LA earlier this week. Hailee and Jeff each earned a nod for their work in the western, which is also up for best picture. Matt Damon, who will spend this weekend in NYC doing press for The Adjustment Bureau with his dueling healthy-cover costar Emily Blunt, wasn't able to join his cast members in Europe. Even without Damon, the trio helped the movie on its final promotional push before the Oscars. Colin Firth, James Franco, Mark Ruffalo, Javier Bardem, Jeff Bridges, and Jesse Eisenberg were among the best actor nominees who dressed up for today's Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon in Beverly Hills. The men joined the female contenders for a celebratory afternoon, but before sitting down for the meal, they stopped by the interview room to chat with the press. James Franco talked about what he and Anne Hathaway will bring to the table as cohosts at this year's ceremony, while Jesse Eisenberg sang the praises of Mark Zuckerberg, whom he met for the first time earlier this month. Javier, who was spotted admiring Natalie Portman's engagement ring and congratulating her inside the luncheon, said he felt "protected" by his circle of famous friends and fans. While this year's competition in both the leading and supporting categories is stiff, Jeff said he thinks Colin will take home the award for best actor in a leading role for his work in The King's Speech.
