Hey there, I'm Karli Bulnes. We're with James Marsden, Kirsten Dunst and the rest of the Bachelorette cast and crew at their big Sundance premiere in today's PopSugar Rush! "But there's something fun about playing an unapologetic, just, douchebag (laughs)" James Marsden admits it was fun playing a rather uncool character in the new independent film, Bachelorette. At the movie's premiere this week at the Sundance Film Festival, James was joined by costar Kirsten Dunst and her boyfriend Garett Hedlund on the chilly red carpet. "I've never been to a bachelorette party" "Lizzy Caplan and Kirsten Dunst said they actually haven't had any crazy bachelorette party experiences themselves but this movie pushes the envelope." "I hope they laugh/If they don't laugh it's going to be super awkward." Bachelorette is the latest lady-filled film to take on the wedding theme, something the movie's writer and director Leslye Headland thinks is really relatable. "I think there is something inherently funny about women at weddings. I think there is something that everyone can kind of connect with, I mean like I had two sisters get married and was a bridesmaid and maid of honor for them." Arden Myrin, who plays a bridal store owner, told us she's been dragged to plenty of cheesy bachelorette bashes in her day, and has a few tips for brides-to-be as a result: "Don't make me play a dumb game, don't give me a penis chocolate, just be cool ladies." Will Ferrell co-produced the film and was also on hand for the premiere in Park City.
