Jack White is a bit of a jack of all trades. Last week his band The Dead Weather released its first album, but that's hardly the only thing on his plate. He's been rocking riotously with former flame Meg White in The White Stripes for more than a decade, jamming with Brendan Benson, Patrick Keeler, and Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs for about half as long, and popping up occasionally on the big screen in the meantime. That's quite the eclectic résumé. For me, Jack will always mean The White Stripes, but I'm also really digging this Dead Weather CD. How do you take your Jack?

don't forget # 5 - singlehandedly renewing Loretta Lynn's career by writing an incredible album for her (ok, her incredible talent probably helped but if it weren't for Jack who knows).
1for me, any Jack is good Jack. the man is in my opinion the most talented musician working today, and his incredible Icky Thump have rebirth to the blues in an age of awful, unoriginal crap.
but then I remember his acting, particularly in Walk Hard as Elvis (wow!), and I just can't decide...
I prefer The Raconteurs.
2Raconteurs were awesome...
Lizlee, absolutely.. that was such an awesome album!
3I'm in an "awesome" mood apparently! haha. Sorry
4I don't how to choose only one.

6There should be an "All the Above". I like my Jack White anyway I can get him.
7My favorite is when he's playing with the stripes, but i loved him in cold mountain!
