Idol Fans: What Do You Think of Kara So Far?

American Idol's new fourth judge, Kara DioGuardi, has made it through her first year of auditions and the first part of Hollywood week. She's survived challenges from Simon Cowell and Bikini Girl and a (hopefully fake) kiss from Paula Abdul, and she's fought for some singers she really likes while ridiculing others under her breath.

I'll be curious to see how Kara fares once the singers start performing live and she has to utter her judgments on the spot. But it seems like we've already gotten a pretty good look at what she brings to the table. So tell me, Idol fans: How do you think the big fourth-judge experiment is working out?

As a great songwriter and an expert she has a great judgement on the contestants

I guess I am alone here ... cos I really don't like her. She is just one judge too many and I find her annoying. I thought the three judges was just nice.

While it's nice that there's another female on the show, I'm not quite sure what I think of her yet. We shall see!

I like her. I agree, she does tend to wear some revealing clothes that can actually be pretty distracting, but I think she's entertaining - especially when she said "Oh, she was voted class comedian in high school... this audition's a joke, right?" And then the girl who was auditioning started to cry and Kara was majorly embarrassed. Hee.

I don't watch the show, but from what I've seen...she doesn't seem to embrace other females, which is the most annoying thing a woman can do.

She's ok...It seems to me that she just repeats what Paula says or vice versa...it's kind of irritating. Not to mention she has a bit of a potty mouth...The only thing I think she's been spot on this whole time about was bikini girl. She never should have made it as far as she did.

I think she's all right. I mean, I feel like she adds a nice compliment to Paula. The one thing my fiancee and I have noticed so far is that her outfits are... well, SLUTTY was the word my BF used, lol! Seriously- everything she has worn looks like some portion of her is going to fall out of it. I think Paula sometimes looks sort of over the top or super-accessorized, but never just trampy. Cara is sort of looking like she's trying waaaay too hard to be the 'sexy' new judge. But her personality seems nice- she seemed genuinely upset to have to tell some people no and was trying to be kind but fair at the same time. So we'll see.

she's ok - not really anything overly amazing yet, but i'm sure that she's still warming up to the way that things are on the show. i like a lot of her feedback though.
