Did you know that May is National Foster Care Month? In honor of this, I’m casting a look back at one of television's most beloved foster kids, Punky Brewster. When I was growing up, I adored this show and I wanted to be just like Punky. I also appreciated that it showed a non-traditional family — with all of its quirks and challenges — proving that family is all about love, not just blood ties.
