Is Meryl Streep's New Role Going to Be Another Award Winner?

Meryl Streep [1] has signed on for a political film, Harrison Ford [2] and Blake Lively [3] are set to star in an upcoming romantic drama, Marvel has found its latest major villain, and there's good news for Avatar fans. A lot of interesting casting bits have already happened this week, so it's time to catch up! Take a look at where your favorite stars are headed next.

Michael Douglas joined Ant-Man [4] as Hank Pym. He'll be starring alongside Paul Rudd [5] as Ant-Man. Michael Peña has also been offered a role [6] in the Edgar Wright-directed film.

Adam Driver joined Silence [7], Martin Scorsese [8]'s next film, which is set in 17th century Japan, alongside Andrew Garfield and Ken Watanabe.

Dracula's Thomas Kretschmann joined The Avengers: Age of Ultron [9] in a "major villain role."

Fox announced that Sam Worthington [10] and Zoe Saldana will return for the Avatar sequels [11].

Harrison Ford [12] joined The Age of Adaline, a romantic drama starring Blake Lively [13] as a woman who stops aging. Ellen Burstyn is also starring.

Craig Robinson, Linda Cardellini, and Jason Lee joined Lost in Austin [14], an indie caper comedy. Cardellini will play a mother who hatches a plan to have her ex (Lee) kidnap her daughter so they can become celebrities.

Pretty Little Liars [15] star Keegan Allen joined James Franco's adaptation of The Sound and the Fury [16]. He'll play a showman who runs away with the main family's little girl (Joey King [17]).

Meryl Streep joined The Senator's Wife [18], an anti-NRA film, described by producer Harvey Weinstein as "the new Mr. Smith Goes to Washington."
