Gwyneth Paltrow and Leighton Meester Are Goin' Country

Looks like Leighton Meester is ready to show off her pipes on the big screen: She and Gwyneth Paltrow are both set to star in Love Don't Let Me Down, a drama about country singers. Paltrow plays an industry has-been who meets a young, up-and-comer (Garrett Hedlund). They team up to go on tour with Paltrow's on-screen husband (Tim McGraw) and a former beauty queen (Meester); drama and hookups inevitably ensue. Shana Feste wrote the screenplay and will direct; Tobey Maguire is on board to produce via Maguire Entertainment.

This is definitely a step up for Meester (no offense directed toward The Roommate), but I'm not exactly bursting with excitement over this one. Sure, Paltrow has a sweet voice in Duets, but to carry a country tune alongside Tim McGraw? Let's just say I'm interested to hear more.

I was fortunate to be a part of this movie. You have no idea what you are talking about. Gwyneth did a fantastic job. Every take. Even after a thirteen hour day. She can sing as well as act. Leighton and Garrett also did a great job. Mr. McGraw does not sing in the movie but his acting is just as wonderful in this movie as in the Blind Side. These are very kind and talented people and I am honored to have worked with them. Basically, you don't know squat.

Tim just did a huge hit "blind side". This movie is a step down from what he did. I honestly believe this should just go on Lifetime or Hallmark. I was hoping for a better movie from him. The other 2 actors are only in their early 20's, not sure what the exact story is about, but I am hoping Tim and Gywenth are not romantically getting involved with the other them. This one, I will wait until it comes out on rental.

i love that TM is in so many movies these days. after seeing him in blind side -i can really appreciate his talent and i hope that this movie is good for everyone involved
