Rufus and Ivy are ready to finally open his new gallery, but no one wants to come to the opening, because Lily is having a competing event. Ivy schemes to buy all the art from Lily's event, and in a show of arty one-upmanship, they both end up hosting. The climax of the event is a bidding war among Lily, Ivy, and Chuck for the piece that has Bart's envelope on it, but it's Rufus who wins it. Chuck gives Ivy double for the painting, but Ivy still has the envelope and its contents: the records of Bart's oil deals. But who is Ivy talking to on the phone?

I love Blair's mom, she's perfectly crazy, in fact it's very convincing that a woman like that would've raised someone like Blair. Margaret Colin really does a great job with her character, I'd like to see her used more. Another note - I loved that they used "Stay" by MNDR (somewhat ironically) during the scene when Ivy goes through the contents of an envelope while talking on the phone, and we realize Ivy’s plans for the future. However, I hate how the Rufus and Ivy angle played out and wonder what the writers were thinking...urgh.
