So, we finally find out what happened after the kiss. Blair has taken to her bed, and we have to assume that she's so traumatized by her newfound affection for Dan that she's unable to face the world. She even tells Epperly, back from her trip to Bali, that the kiss changed her life. I was hopeful this meant something more for Dan and Blair, but it doesn't: Blair reveals that the kiss was life-changing because it made her realize how much she wanted to be kissing Chuck, and that she wanted to be with him. The good news is that Chuck feels the same way, as evidenced by how hard he works to find out that Blair kissed Dan. He concocts a scheme to embarrass Dan and show that Dan doesn't belong in Blair's world, which gets us to the bad news. Chuck's stunt makes Blair realize that he's not ready for the relationship, even if she is.
