Serena wakes up in the bed of Colin (Sam Page, rocking the same smarmy hotness as he does on Mad Men), but claims they just "talked all night." Good thing she didn't let the cab-stealer steal her cab on the first night, because he's her new business professor. Before you can say "Hot For Teacher" though, he talks her into dropping his class so they can date.
Lily, the voice of reason (and the audience), laments her daughter's inability to focus on her future rather than men. When she pulls a gem out of the Lily Bass school of life, "He can make your life so much easier," I cringed, but it turns out it's reverse psychology. It works on Serena, who decides not to drop Colin's class, and the two decide to just get to know each other instead. Isn't that sweet . . . ?
