Nate tries to track Diana Payne down, but his efforts are unnecessary; she literally shows up at his family's front doorstep. When Nate learns she's trying to score an interview with his mom for an article she's writing about the disgraced wives of dirty business men, he offers to help convince his mom to talk with Diana in exchange for more alone time with the older woman. While he'd settle for a date, Diana readily offers up more. In the end, Diana gets her interview, and Nate lands the older woman, plus an internship gig at her newspaper. I'm sure he'll benefit from some after-hours job perks, but the setup might not be as ideal as he thinks. Diana has targeted Nate from the get-go, and her motives seem shady.
