Twist! When the highly anticipated adaptation of Gillian Flynn's book Gone Girl comes out this October, readers of the book can expect to be surprised by the ending, because it will be different than the book. In the article, Fincher quotes Affleck, who had said, "This is a whole new third act! She literally threw that third act out and started from scratch."
