The Glee Project Premieres Sunday, June 12 on the Oxygen Network

If you're feeling Glee withdrawals since the second season wrapped up last month, then I have the antidote to relieve you of your symptoms: The Glee Project. Oxygen's new reality series, which kicks off tonight, is a singing competition with the goal of finding a new talent for Glee. Hopeful contestants will vie for a seven-episode guest spot on the Fox series during the next season.

I have to admit that I'm missing my McKinley High fix, and even though it's not the same thing, I am pretty interested in seeing the process of picking a new performer for the show. I also like that there is an emphasis on diversity since it's a theme of the club on Glee. Oh, and some of the Fox show's stars are due to stop by (hello, Darren Criss) and lend some advice.
