George and Izzie: Meant to Be, or Terrible Idea?

Now that we've had a week to ponder the George/Izzie drunken hookup on "Grey's Anatomy," how are you feeling about this potential couple?

I think they're much better as friends, although I always had it in the back of my mind, the desire for them to hook up. When I finally got my very faint wish, it was terrible! It felt so wrong, and now George is a cheater...and many are calling him a man-whore which I'm now reluctant to refute. Poor Callie! ...if George and Bailey hook up, I will be so upset! That's the final straw - George O'Malley, homewrecker.

I don't like the idea of Gizzie.. I don't know.. I love the chemistry Izzie has with Alex!! now that is a couple!! I love George with Callie!!

nothing will happen with them, they just dont go together. george is really pissing me off this season. i still can't believe what he said to callie about izzie being "stacked" and a "supermodel" definately a yell at the tv moment.

Callie is a great character - but, shes a guest star at this point still. I am a fan of the Izzie/George combo. They've always gotten each other better than anyone else. AND - if we are talking REALITY here.. chances are (at least from my experiences) that no girlfriend/wife is going to allow their boyfriend/husband to have such a close girl friend. I have had some amazing FRIEND relationships with guys - but, I always end up getting shafted because the girlfriend can't handle her bf having a close friend that is a female.

I think Izzie needs to be with Alex! and it doesnt get any better than Callie O'Malley!! "Its perfectly normal to have girl crushes" Gotta love Old School Brit!

Mallomar, I agree with you. George used to be one of my favorites, but he is no longer. I do like Callie O'Malley, though.

"George and Izzie doing it" is neck and neck with "Meredith's not really dead" for the Grey's jump-the-shark moment. I love how much Shonda loves her show, but she seems determined to run it into the ground.

i hope it was all a bad dream or something too. I like Calley and I think she keeps getting the short end of the stick. It would change my love for George if he cheated on her, drunk and angry or not.
