The Brad Pitt-WWII Drama Fury Looks Violent, Emotional, and Really Good

Yes, Brad Pitt is back on the WWII battlefield to kill Nazis again, but where Inglourious Basterds could find some dark comedy in the violent subject, none of that is to be found in the trailer for Fury. The much more solemn-looking film is about "Wardaddy" (Pitt), the tank he leads (called "Fury"), and the four other men (played by Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña, and Jon Bernthal) as they head into a dangerous mission inside Nazi Germany. Lerman is the young rookie learning (and breaking down) as he goes, and the other men seem like they have a friendship that might give this movie a little lightness — but this is a war movie, after all. Fury opens Nov. 14, and you can watch the trailer now.
