Lena Dunham and Allison Williams were joined by their castmates and quite a few celebrity friends when they premiered the second season of Girls in NYC last night. Lena wore a strapless Valentino jumpsuit while Allison wore an Altuzarra ensemble. Zosia Mamet and Jemima Kirke, who gave birth to her second child seven weeks ago, hammed it up with their costars on the red carpet while the men of Girls — Adam Driver, Christopher Abbott, Andrew Rannells, and Alex Karpovsky — took photos together. Solange Knowles also attended the event along with HBO stars like Michael K. Williams and Steve Buscemi.

The cast and Lena in particular have been in the press quite a bit lately as they promote the new season of their hit series. Lena recently opened up about her awkward teenage years, saying she didn't have any friends and was a "chubby teenager." Despite her pre-Girls troubles, Lena is enjoying the success of her HBO show, including a nomination at Sunday's Golden Globes — make sure to fill out a Golden Globes ballot for the chance to win $1,500 and an iPad mini!

Sienna Miller hosted the grand opening of the Esquire House in LA on Friday night. She arrived on the West Coast late last week before joining fellow blond Kate Bosworth for the philanthropic event. Despite being on the rumored guest list, Jude Law didn't attend and instead stayed in London to hang with his Sherlock Holmes friends over the weekend. Alexander Skarsgard accompanied Kate to support the cause and the two followed their charitable night out with a trip to Saturday's Spike Scream Awards, though Kate stayed out of the spotlight while Alexander took home the statue for Best Horror Actor.

The charity presentation usually kicks off Fall Fashion Week, with last year's event bringing out the likes of Amanda Bynes and Hilary Duff. Kim spent last weekend supporting her boyfriend Reggie Bush during his Super Bowl, but it was his turn to do the cheering on yesterday as he watched her from the front row. Real Housewife of New York Bethenny Frankel showed off her growing baby bump, while Heidi Klum brought two red dresses along after spending the afternoon launching her new maternity line and talking about how she got back in shape after pregnancy. Heidi's adding to her growing list of jobs with an upcoming cameo on Desperate Housewives, but her first TV baby, Project Runway, was back with a new episode last night — do you think the right designer was sent home?

A little rain didn't dampen the fashion show on the red carpet at last night's Golden Globes in LA. Some of our favorite ladies had to accessorize with umbrellas, but apart from wet trains, they seemed pretty unfazed. Diane Kruger led the evening's artsy trend in her bold pink Christian Lacroix gown, while Cameron Diaz went bright in her red Alexander McQueen. Sandra Bullock also decided on color with purple, though Marion Cotillard went a little more low-key in a muted dark green. Jennifer Garner, meanwhile, opted to go the sparkly route in Versace.

A few ladies, though, decided to forgo the color — Penelope Cruz chose black with a part-lace Giorgio Armani Prive gown, as did January Jones with her Lanvin. Kate Hudson and Anna Kendrick took opposite approaches, each choosing to go with light Marchesa numbers. Drew Barrymore also picked Versace, though her dress was one-shouldered and nude-colored. The event was more casual than the ladies luncheon with Ashley Greene and Rachel Bilson going on across town, but Audrina and company were more than happy to show off their new acquisitions. Audrina opened up about Heidi Montag's plastic surgery makeover and said, "I think it's a case of, 'To each their own' . . . but 10 procedures in one day is a little much." Seems like a diplomatic response from Audrina, though you guys almost unanimously think Heidi went too far.
