Pharrell and The Neptunes had been longtime collaborators with Kelis before she hit it big in 2003 with "Milkshake," which the duo cowrote and produced.

Justin Timberlake — "Rock Your Body"

Pharrell cowrote and helped produce LL Cool J's 2002 hit.
