Ezra Koenig Sings Paul Simon Cover "Papa Hobo" For Indie Film Ceremony
Music in the Movies: Ezra Koenig Covers "Papa Hobo" in Ceremony
by Shannon Vestal 1

Vampire Weekend's lead singer Ezra Koenig is pulling a solo move for the soundtrack of upcoming indie drama Ceremony, which stars Uma Thurman and Michael Angarano. Koenig contributes the track "Papa Hobo," a cover of a Paul Simon song. Koenig's distinctive voice does justice to the bittersweet song, which sounds like a perfect fit for the film, where Thurman and Angarano play a May-December couple who are no longer together, but can't seem to stay away from each other, even on the eve of her wedding. Listen to the lovely song when you read more.
