Rewind: This Week's Buzz
- In the midst of all this Idol mania, it's great to have original Idol Kelly Clarkson's album coming soon. Check out my initial thoughts on her new tunes.
- You know who else I sorta missed? Tyra Banks. OK, that's kind of a lie, but I am thankful America's Next Top Model was back in all its crazy glory this week.
- You've got to check out this trailer for Public Enemies. It's got Depp. It's got Bale. It doesn't get hotter than that.
- I had a great time at WonderCon last weekend. Check out my coverage of the Watchmen panel as well as tidbits about the new Star Trek and Terminator movies, and all the juicy stuff I learned about Pixar's upcoming new movie, Up.
- In book news, I announced my new book club selection for March and wrote about some controversy surrounding the changed ending to the movie adaptation of Jodi Picoult's My Sister's Keeper.
- In cool music video news, yay, new Andrew Bird video.
- And in generally bizarre news, Sleepless in Seattle is going to become a Broadway musical. Intriguing? Or totally messed up?
- There was a ton of casting news this week including Dakota Fanning joining Kristen Stewart in the Joan Jett movie, Leonardo DiCaprio jumping on board director Christopher Nolan's new project, Keira Knightley going sci-fi, and Reese Witherspoon's involved with some movie about shrinking people.
