We knew that George Clooney was planning to show at the Emmys to receive his humanitarian award, but it came as a total surprise when he popped up with the gang from Modern Family! In a cute video with the cast, Clooney romances Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara, and both Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet. Watch the clip again!

This skit was such a nice surprise and I love that the ending gave a nod to (and brought back memories of) the hilarious Oscar opening sketch with Jon Stewart. The look on the three men's faces (Jesse, George and Eric) at the end of the video had me shedding a few tears in laughter. Clooney is like a fine wine and a great balance of dramatics and humor.

I was never really attracted to George Clooney... but it just happened. I'm totally in love with him right now. I think I saw two episodes of Modern Family ever, (I don't have cable, so it isn't the Modern Family reference), but for some reason, fell in love with him. Thanks for your coverage, back when I had cable, I always watched the award shows, You're taking all the exciting parts and posting it for me so I don't have to waste time later! :)
