The Trailer For James Gandolfini's Final Film Is Here

Before his untimely death last Summer, James Gandolfini filmed a crime drama called The Drop, costarring Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace. The trailer is out, and it looks dark, dangerous, and even moving. Marv (Gandolfini) and Bob (Hardy) are two Brooklyn guys who get in way over their heads when their bar gets held up. For any other small-business owner, this wouldn't be such a huge problem — but their bar doubles as a money drop for the area's many crooks. Now, Marv and Bob, who have tried to stay out of the "life," find themselves drawn back into it as they attempt to find the stolen money. Also, remember those pictures of Tom Hardy holding a puppy on set from last year? Now you get to see him and the puppy in action. Joking aside, this really is all about James Gandolfini, and I'm hoping the film can do justice to the brilliant actor. The Drop hits theaters Sept. 19.
