Do You Want Pam and Jim to Date?

We learned some interesting things in this week's season premiere of "The Office," and it got me thinking. A lot of the fun of "The Office" has been the tension between Pam and Jim, the "what if?" always lingering there. Do you want them to actually date, or do you think it's better to keep the air of possibility between them?

I really need to see how their relationship dynamic pans out... But I loved seeing the writers set up Kevin as a liaison to all the Jammers in the world!

I voted for yes, and I am really hoping that they really do work out. I know its illogical, but sometimes my emotions get invested in their relationship a little too much even though they are fictionaly characters, but still, I just don't want them to break up.

I love Jam so much, but it makes me nervous about the rest of the show. I get the feeling that they'll be a couple for like a season, then they will have some horrible breakup, then who knows and we'll wind up with the office jumping the shark. i'm just praying that the brilliant writers find a way to make this relationship work out without making Jam boring.

Yes! We've been through it all with them for the past three years, and I, for one, want to see the pay off. Besides, if any tv show can pull off getting the will-they-won't-they couple together it's The Office. Those writers are a-MA-zing.

I like Jim and Pam together because I think that their relationship is sweet and believable. They were friends for so long and their personalities go great together! That said, I don't think that this is "happily ever after" because, well, I don't know, doesn't anyone think that will get boring? When the series ends I would like them to be together but personally I miss the tension that existed before.

I think there are MORE possibilities for plot twists now that they are dating! I'm excited to see where the show is going to go this season - SO excited :)

Yes, for once I would like to see a tv couple that can make it. I really hope they don't break them up and keep getting them back together. They are a creative show and can find a way to make the relationship interesting without break up tension.

I'm afraid that if they get together, it'll ruin the show. The show is all about the tension between them - if they're together, the tension evaporates. I need the angsty longing!!!

I love JAM/ PB&J!! Was anyone else squealing like a schoolgirl? The Office is a great show. Favorite scene: Pam secretly picking Jim up!! I was so sad at the beginning when I thought they didn't get together, but the ending of the first half was what I've been waiting for all summer! The Office writers are very witty and talented.

I love JAM, but last nights episode still seemed a bit...anti-climactic. I'm torn because I like the tension, but I want them to be together too.

The audience and the characters have been through enough waiting, it's time to progress with the story, and that's exactly what they seem to be doing.

Love PB&J!!!!! I'm glad it's finally happened. But it's cute because it's so new for them to be together, there is still a lot to it. Granted they will have to break up...but let's just enjoy them together...totally cute and awkward...loves it

I'm interested to watch it play out! Sitcoms often seem to make the mistake of taking the keeping-apart-the-main-characters thing to RIDICULOUS lengths. I like that they're being innovative and we'll see what happens!

Yes but I'd like Dunder Mifflin to institute a No Dating Co-Workers policy so that they have to date on the sly!!! it could easily be put into effect due to the whole Michael and Jan fiasco!!!!!

After three seasons of tension and what ifs, they deserve this chance to be together. I, for one, am interested seeing how they develop in a relationship, the good and the bad. I think to keep them apart for the sake of having them apart or have them break up immediately would be kind of unrealistic. There are still many possibilities for some pretty wonderful scenes of tension and fighting, as well as some subsequent making up after, dont you think =P?
