Do You Think Leo Could Play Hugh Hefner?

The film world is buzzing about reports that Leonardo DiCaprio is "in talks" to play Hugh Hefner in Brett Ratner's biopic of the Playboy founder. When I first heard the news about Ratner's project I couldn't think of many actors who could portray Hefner, and DiCaprio certainly didn't come to mind. But now that I think of it, maybe he could handle it. What do you think?

By the way, that's Hefner in 1978. Weird, huh?

To good an actor, they need a pervert, they should find a priest serving time for molestation of young boys. Why anyone would make this movie is beyond belief. The real question is what porn stars will be available to play the Girls Next Door.

Hell no!! I'm sure he has the talent but, why is it that Hollywood refuses to cast people who look like the actual person? It bothers the hell out of me when that happens. So much so that the film becomes unbelieveable and unbearable to watch!

I voted no. I feel like the person who plays Hef needs to have certain level of seediness about their character - Leo is a good actor, but he has too much of a babyface to seem like a pornographer.

I think Leo could do it. I could also see Jude Law, even though he makes me projectile vomit :sick: Isn't it a little earlier to do a biopic on Heff? Not to sound morbid, but I think it'd be more appropriate to do it after his death. Just an idea!

i hate that this dirty old misogynist bastard is getting his own biopic. it's bad enough that there's a weekly chronicle of his menage a trois with women 1/4 his age, but to glorify him and his outdated lifestyle of objectification makes me even more nauseous. he should be played by jack nicholson--a creepy old man just like him.

Nah, I think Leo comes off as a little creepy now, and even though Huge Hefner probably should come off as creepy, he really doesnt, so I dont think this is a good fit
